Greenville, MS here we come.

Wednesday, March 14, 2007

This is Kelley updating for Donald...He could post on here but he doesn't make time...Well, here is a little personality thing he did; you all may remember this from training. Both of our test things are different than they were in training... The personality test is at the top of the page.

Hope everyone had a wonderful day. My parents were coming in last night and they called and told us they were having car trouble. My dad was towing my trailer, the nut that holds the trailer ball on fell off, and the trailer started dragging by the emergency chains.  Now typically that would not be a big deal except it happened in Uniontown- a small town 20 minutes west of Selma. In the last month, there have been two murders. So, I rush out at 11:00 p.m to meet them and I was able to tow the trailer with my van.

Then at 5:00 a.m, we receive a phone call from the alarm company reporting a break-in at the Church. I raced to the Church to find that a hammer had been thrown through the glass front door. Praise the Lord that nothing was stolen or damaged beside the door. It is a shame that you have your glass man on speed dial. The thrift store has been broken into 9 times since Christmas and this is the first for the Church. Now the storage building behind the Church has been broken into numerous times.

All drama aside, it was good to celebrate Thanksgiving with family and enjoy my wife’s homemade pecan pie. Please pray for K she is still running a fever, and I feel so bad I think I gave her what I had last week.

Well enjoy this Thanksgiving season and leave lots of comments.

Hope everyone went and voted today. Today was an interesting day. Every client who came in today chose to come in acting the fool. Acting the fool will get you no where with my case worker. I decided that I would come home and work. I think I made the right choice.

I would post more but have to go, K and me are going to the YMCA.

K and I took our social worker and bookkeeper to lunch on Friday. After lunch, I received a call from MS from Tuscaloosa asking if I wanted two tickets to the Alabama- MSU game. As disappointed, as I am with Alabama, K and I had a great day. Even better, we capped the day with a wonderful dinner at the original Dreamland BBQ.

Dylan stayed with our CSM. He calls her Maw-Maw and her husband Paw-Paw. We are privileged to have her as one of our leaders.

Please pray for K and me in the coming weeks we are going to have to make some tough decisions. On a positive note, I ran into our local TV reporter. It looks as if we might have a live feed to the morning show for our kettle kickoff. Will let you know more details as they unfold.
